HRH Prince Moulay Rachid stresses the need for economic independence

Rabat-Morocco, November 2, 2007 – His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid on Friday received in his Rabat Residence the current Duke of York HRH the Prince Andrew and his accompanied delegation of businessmen and women.

During the meeting with a clear economic dimension, the two sides discussed the means to explore and enhance trade and investment and further increasing the two-way trade and commerce between Morocco and the UK.

His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid reiterated his commitment to develop relations between Morocco and the UK and enhance trade and investment between the sectors in the two friendly countries.

Prince Moulay Rachid, who gives much importance to international trade and investment relations, expressed he seeks international partnership based on investment and not on aid and assistance.
