HRH Prince Moulay Rachid enquires about the government advancement

Casablanca-Morocco, November 6, 2007 – His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, in his capacity as Heir to the Moroccan Throne, on Tuesday enquired about government’s ability and policy to reduce, alleviate and prevent poverty during the Council of Ministers in the Royal Palace in Casablanca.

As part of His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid's efforts in providing equal opportunities to all, has stated his commitment to engage constructively with tackling poverty as inevitability to ensuring a healthy future for all Moroccans.

His Royal Highness stressed that government has the primary role for combating poverty and exclusion, and to ensure people can exploit economic and social development opportunities.

Understanding how significant it is to take up the challenge of sustainable development, His Royal Highness has anchored the government on his philosophy of people empowerment as spearheads major economic and social partnership deals.
