HRH Prince Moulay Rachid deepens Morocco-Mauritania Partnership
Riyadh, March 28, 2007 - His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid held talks with Ely Ould Mohammed Vall, the President of Mauritania on the fringe of the 19th Arab Summit.
The two leaders conferred on bilateral relations and other major international issues as well as and key issues on the Summit Agenda.
His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid political aspiration and firm determination had broadened interaction between Morocco and other countries and had taken Morocco to unprecedented heights.
Ely Ould Mohammed Vall came to the power on August 3rd 2005, when he and the group of army officers staged a bloodless coup that overthrown then-President Taya. Many Mauritanians welcomed the coup. He then formed a military council as an act to end a totalitarian regime.
